Husker's Hope Dachshund Rescue, Inc

There are no words to really express my 5 star rating. I’ve known about Huskers Hope for many years, I’ve transported dogs from CA to Denver to meet with transport taking to Nebraska. Carla is an encyclopedia on IVDD Dachshunds. Her yard is home to dogs using carts who need some mobility otherwise they would have to drag themselves around (if even possible). Recently she has branched out on intake of other breeds and doing a fabulous job of it. Integrating Dachshunds with other breeds is not always easy. There are no words for my review, just a HUGE “Thank You” for all she does. These dogs are alive because no one else wanted to bother with them.

A bad "rescue". Dogs euthanized while in Chapman's care. Negative AG inspection reports. Neglect & Abuse. Chapman' bullies volunteers. Chapman can't back up any of her lies. Never send a dog there nor support a hoarder.

This is one of the most well-run rescues I've ever been to. Carla is a wonderful cursing and loves everyone of her doggie children.

So many dogs in such a small place. God bless Carla for her dedication to helping these dogs but they need more space.

Didn't go here but the website looks wonderful. So glad these furbabies get rescued. Dachshunds are the best!
