We adopted Pugsley, he was in a Foster home for quite some time. We were very pleased with the staff and the foster mom, very friendly and helpful. He's an amazing playmate for our German Shepherd and ferret.

We had 2 strays at our property. Caught one and had to take her there. We got our dog from here. Excellent experience, adopting. Rather sad to take the stray though. The staff were excellent. The black dog is the stray and the Husky is our adopted dog.

We adopted Asage now named Oaklee in March of this year. We couldn’t be more happy with the adoption process. Oaklee didn’t have any background information so we were kind of hesitant. They allowed us to take as much time as needed where we instantly knew she was coming home with us. Now Oaklee is healing from her previous breeding situation and is a very happy dog! If my boyfriend would allow us to get more pets I’d be there in a heartbeat❤️

I had to send my best friend to the rainbow bridge on 11/26. I wasn't necessarily ready but my family wanted to go look at 3 dogs. We have a Pocket Bully who is 10 months old and I felt like he would benefit from another pet in the home. We moved here from NC 5 months ago so we are not familiar with shelters in the area. I googled and read many reviews before choosing Humane Society of S. Wi. We went in on a Sunday and picked our new pup Frankie up on a Wednesday afternoon. She and Wilson had met a day before at their facility. Thursday morning I noticed Frankie (new pup) was coughing/choking. I really didn't think about it because she didn't have any other symptoms. She is very food driven and continued to eat and play. Wilson, our bully, was breathing so loud and raspy so I just separate
