Extortion: the practice of obtaining something, especially money, through force or threats. This goes out to management only, the workers are all great people... my cat was stolen November 26th from in front of our house. He was turned into the shelter December 6th... someone stole our 14 year old cat, kept him for 10 days, decided he wasn't worth keeping and turned him into the shelter. The extortion occurred when we found out our cat was there... they claimed we owed them 1,000 dollars, but if we just pay 50 dollars we can readopt our own cat.... thank you for taking care of him, but extorting a family with 4 kids who desperately want to see their cat. My 2 year old hasn't stopped screaming with joy and following him around petting him. We will not rest until this is fixed, so I'd advise

Clean and caring staff for the animals kept there. Walking dogs are available and a play yard to let them run....

This place is the best. Love that it's a no kill shelter and they keep the animals until adopted. The people who work there are nice and they care about the animals they take in. They even help out with Vet visits by helping pay a portion of the visit if you can't afford to take your pet to the Vet for whatever reason. Though you may have to prove income and residency. Also If you can please donate any amount helpa. So they can continue to help the animals they look after and continue to provide services like pet food and Vet visits.
