Humane Society of Marshall County

Do not go their and adopt I got this beautiful baby not even 3 days ago and now fighting to save his life from Parvo, and when informed they said and I quote “you signed a contract and after they leave our premises we are not responsible” we are going to be paying over a 1000 dollars to try and save his life. I am beyond heartbroken!

WARNING!! DO NOT ADOPT A PET FROM THESE HEARTLESS PEOPLE! THEY PUT YOU THROUGH A LONG PROCESS, JUST TO BE ABLE TO ADOPT ONE OF THEIR PETS. AND AFTER 2 DAYS, THE PET IS DYING OF PARVO, AND THEY REFUSE TO GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK!! SAVE YOURSELF THE HEARTBREAK AND THE MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!!

Super nice and friendly staff. They really care for the animals. Highly recommend going if you're interested in adopting a cat or dog. They have a great selection.

The people were friendly, the environment super clean & pets were well cared for here. I was happy to be able to walk through to see all the kitties. My son (14) got to pick his first little fur baby he could call his own. It's been about 2 weeks & we are in love with our new little guy. I'd give this place a 10 star review if I could & that's saying a lot for me. Thank you so much Humane Society of Marshall County, you all made the drive worth it! Plenty of kitties & dogs here that need & deserve fur ever homes if anyone with a great heart needs a new friend, I would definitely recommend this place.

I think it's impossible to get ahold of these people over the phone. Ever time I call it rings through to voicemail like nobody is at the desk and then it acts like the phone is off the hook for 5 minutes going straight to "the number you called isn't accepting calls at this time". Really wanted to try to take his animal there instead of one of the kill shelters because the facility itself is actually decent.
