I rate this place based on service, and not intentions or any sort of voluntary services people may perform. I say this because it is still NOT inexpensive to adopt a pet here. It still costs a fair deal of currency. The cost is based upon the services a pet needs to be adopted. Each pet is different, based on needs. The place appears pretty run down, and the entire property appears to be a work in progress. Materials and supplies appear to be just dropped and left. Towels all over ground. Water hoses left out and abandoned. Rules abound EVERYWHERE with signs taped up everywhere. Taped up signs are tacky and unprofessional. My wife and have adopted two wonderful cats from here and we've had nothing but a good experience with the people who run this place. It would be nice to see those people who complain volunteer some time here and help as there's a tremendous amount of work that goes into this type of facility. May God bless the people who work here and the animals who find themselves here.

I went to volunteer and worked with some really nice people. The staff was super nice and hard working. I am grateful for the opportunity. They have plenty of cats 🐈 and dogs 2 choose from.

Horrible service, if I could give it 0 stars I would. First off there hours online arnt even their actual hours of operation. They are only open one day a week from 10am-2pm. When I tried to call no one ever picked up. I went to the shelter since I had a few questions. The inside had a very strong nasty Oder, things were not the cleanest and when I had asked for help with a question I had the lady that helped me was not only very rude but very unhelpful. She kept cutting me off and rushed me out of the building without ever really helping. I feel so bad for the animals that get taken there. These pets deserve kind people who work with them as well as a clean environment. I definitely don’t recommend getting an animal here or supporting this shelter.
