Humane Society of El Paso

We had a bit of an issue . We went one day found the doggie . We had to leave him because he was going to get fixed this was a Monday . They told us to pick up on Thursday same week . Long story short we went the doggie was taken by original owners. We went to Pick up no doggie. We didn’t get a notice or nothing. On Friday next day we got to go and adopt another doggie. This time the process was better. No issues we took him home. And now he’s happy and so is my brother he’s owner. Thank you

From my experience it was quick and easy we got our girl Gracie a little over 2 months ago and it was love at first sight. She came with all her shots and it was only about $150 for her, also the staff was incredible they were very sweet and provided us with as much information as they could. Probably will be back further on to add another member to our fur family!

Their dogs are taken care of and so loved it's incredible. I just recently got approved to be a foster and I couldn't be more excited! So much friendlier and humble than the animal services across the street. Staff here are so friendly and inviting. Love it and would DEFINITELY recommend coming to adopt, foster and donate!!!

Last Sunday, my uncle fostered a puppy from the Humane Society of El Paso. We were thrilled to welcome her into our home. By Tuesday, my 5 month old puppy who was exposed to her started showing signs that seemed like kennel cough, but unfortunately, those symptoms quickly progressed to Canine distemper. Despite my puppy being fully vaccinated , the disease advanced rapidly, and we tragically lost him today. This heartbreaking experience highlights the need for more rigorous health monitoring at the shelter. It’s crucial that shelters implement thorough screening and isolation protocols to prevent the spread of contagious diseases like Canine distemper.
