When looking for your furry friend you should definitely visit. We were looking for a rescue dog and found the Humane society to be the best. The dogs and cats are well cared for and the staff is absolutely the best!! Note, suggest getting their at 11:00 as that's when they open, and that's your best shot at getting your your furry friend. Lastly, we selected Kylo, a small puppy, two weeks in, he is turning out out to be a very good dog. Definitely suggest, if looking for a pet you try here first. Thanks again Humane Society. Jim. The first time we came to Humane Society of Broward County was for a kids birthday party a few years ago. They did a fabulous job organizing the birthday party. The space here is huge and very clean and organized. The staff here is nice and very helpful. We decided to stop by and check out the dogs available for adoption. We also found out recently that you can foster pets at the Humane Society and receive service hours for school. I believe it’s five hours per day you have a pet. Very cool incentive to foster pets and get service hours as well. Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn’t too busy. You can check in at the front desk for information on adoption, fostering, or any other information needed. Len who is a volunteer sitting at the left corner info area helped us find the ke

I've always been a fan of the humane society. I visited one in Atlanta, Georgia before this one and must say I enjoyed both experiences. I loved viewing the animals and how they give you a special little room to bond with them. I came for a dog that was on a waiting list, so I decided to go with a cat above. They told me to come back the next day to pick him up bause he was being microchipped, and they give him all the shots and he was up to date on all the needed services. They also gave me food, and a free vet visit during the checkout orientation. The orientation is so cool. You sit with a care worker who give you information about the animal. Tell you the best way to care for the animal, and sometimes you're seated next to other happy parents.

I’ve had Fiona for about 6 months now and she is the sweetest, kindest little best friend I could ask for. The adoption process was super smooth, and every single person who works there was so kind and helpful. I’m truly so thankful I was able to adopt her she a great girl :)

My experience at humane society was awesome! The staff were all very welcoming and so helpful . I went in there not knowing what to expect because I had never gotten a pet from the humane society. It was so nice and clean. I was looking for a cat and actually got 2 and the animal are all clean and taken such good care of. I would highly recommend the humane society of Broward County to anyone looking for a fur baby or two lol. They made the adoption such a pleasant experience.
