Humane Indiana Shelter and Adoption Center

We loved coming here. The place is incredibly clean and well maintained. You can tell the staff definitely has a heavy workload but they're all very dedicated to the animals and ensuring as many can go home as possible. We found our newest pet Mel and renamed her Honeybelle. She is adjusting to our new home and she's slowly coming out of her shell and becoming the playful puppy she should've always been. Highly recommend for families! Especially those looking for puppies, they had so many options of all ages.

So pleased with the Marcus clinic. Staff were knowledgeable and kind. My dog was neutered and throughout the process they were caring and kept me well informed. So grateful for the affordable care. Very deserving of 5 star rating.

We absolutely loved every part of our experience at Humane Indiana. We were able to go view the dogs and facility before selecting which we wanted to meet. Then we made a decision after the staff let us have as much time with the pups as we wanted. We filled out paperwork, they were able to get the puppy spayed that day and we took her home less than 24 hours later. The spay incision looks so clean and well done, the experience was so easy and they clearly know what they are doing. Highly recommend this facility and the staff and volunteers were so friendly and helpful!

I had my dog Honey spayed here in 11/24/25 everyone was amazing and very informative. Honey is healing doing well, If I wasn't there, I wouldn't believe she was spayed, she is doing so well.
