Customer Reviews
I don’t think you could ask for a better experience moving through the adoption process. Staff are welcoming, knowledgeable, and friendly. If you’re more on the novice side of things they are so helpful and informative. I left this experience with new skills! They know the animals inside and out and I feel very informed about the horse we adopted. This center is amazing for the animals and the community.
I went and volunteered in the Saturday morning 10-1 time slot and I loved it. It's neat being so close to the animals and there's a big feel good factor about walking up and seeing the mess, then walking away and seeing it clean. I didn't catch a video of a the little ones trotting along with the mum because I was too busy watching the action. I did snap a few pics of Nelson, the gigantic shy mule.
Great family fun! We went for the "Tales for Tails" event where kids read to the horses as part of the rehabilitation process. The people were so friendly and welcoming, and they were so pleased that we made the effort to help out. We also learned a lot about horse 'body language' and some valuable Do's and Dont's. We will definitely be back!!
Horse adoption and therapy at its finest. Horse Expo Event was very informational even if you are only a visitor. Beautiful grounds and barns. I recommend this place for donations as well. They do good things for area neglected and abused equine.
First visit, everyone was so nice and friendly and Allen gave us a great tour!
