I am a septuagenarian who is realistic enough to understand fully why elder cat lovers are not ideal adopters for kittens - no one wants to predecease a pet BUT that is a distinct possibility as we age! In addition, kittens require more attention and patience than we seniors sometimes are able to provide. So I looked to adopt an adult or senior cat seeking quiet security and the good people at Hull Seaside Animal Rescue, a clean and well organized shelter facility ONLY FOR CATS, helped make that happen. MURPHY is 4 and has settled into my world in less than a week! Bear in mind that these volunteers give generously of their time and, at the very least, deserve priority when it comes to adoptions❤️

This is such a wonderful shelter. First of all, it is clean! There is no smell. Second, the cats roam free in this big room with windows to the outside and transparent walls to the inside. You would expect all the cats to run to the door when you walk in, begging to be brought home. But instead, they were all very content, lounging in their own cat tree beds and looking out the window. You can tell they are well fed, played with, and cared for. My cat that I adopted had to have his own room, but he got a lot of attention from volunteers who hung out and played with him to make sure he wasn't lonely. They sent us home with a bag of his favorite toys and some food. My poor cat spent 2 months in the shelter before we found him, but I'm SO glad it was this shelter, because he was very well-lov

We found Tabitha on petfinder and were able to book an appointment to adopt within the week. All the volunteers were masked and respecting distance, lots of sanitation considerations too. They sent us off with toys and lots of love for our new kitty.

We got our two babies from here and cant say enough about this place. Judy and the staff were fantastic. We are head over heals in love with our cats - Zell and Damien ❤️❤️😻😻 Thank you beyond words.
