Hounds in the Hub

We truly cannot express how grateful we are to have Mary and the Hounds in the Hub team. Mary has been walking and providing overnight care for our dogs Daffy and Gus for several years now. Our Gus is fearful of many people and can be very reactive to new dogs. Before we found Mary, we had very few people that we’d trust to care for Gus. But Mary has been incredible - not only do we totally trust her with them, but she has gone so far above and beyond to help us make so much positive progress with Gus. She has helped introduce him to many new doggy friends and really grown his confidence. Mary and her team provide so much more than dog walks and boarding - they provide customized care for our best friends. We cannot recommend Hounds in the Hub highly enough!

Mary's instagram page brought us to Hounds in the Hub but the exceptional care she provides our dog, Theo, is why we stay! After a stretch of bad experiences and with a lot of behavioral baggage in tow we were thrilled to find Mary and the entire Hounds in the Hub crew (big shout out to Chip, master of offbeat off-leash adventures!). Every member of Mary's team goes above and beyond to make sure that Theo's excursions are fun, safe and enriching. Mary truly does treat every pup like her own and Hounds in the Hub offers a level of professionalism, reliability and care that is unmatched from our perspective. I am so grateful for Mary, Rachel, and their amazing team - they been a life saver for us!! We have used them for solo walks, group walks, and overnight stays. We were recommended Hounds in the Hub from a desperate Facebook post asking for help with our foster pup Tokyo. Tokyo is very fearful of new people to the point we couldn’t have strangers in the house. We were looking for someone to work with us to get him to a point that he would go for daily walks and overnights. Mary, the owner, was nothing short of a God send. She worked with Tokyo building his confidence with endless patience and lots of treats! She was able to tailor walks for him in the beginning, moving around her own schedule to make sure he had the time he needed. Tokyo is now a happy and thriving member of the Hounds in the Hub pack! It is because of Mary and her team that we were able to make Tokyo a permanent member of our family and we are forever grateful!
