Very caring for the dogs and informative for the adopting party. I was happily surprised at all of the attention paid to the incoming dogs with the love, vet visits, tests, current vaccines and a bath these dogs are given before adoption. I am very happy with the little guy I adopted. I took everything Stephanie told me about my dog to heart and I did not have surprises with my furever little guy. I would recommend Hoovers Haus to all of my friends.

We adopted our sweet baby from Hoovers a year and a half ago & had a wonderful experience! We’d been looking to rescue a dog for a while after the passing of our senior dog & after several other dogs/rescues falling through at no fault of our own, we found Daisy on petfinder. I immediately submitted my application & actually received a call from the director that same day! She was very nice & helpful, and put us in contact with the foster family. They were also wonderful answering questions (completely honest with us) & we were able to meet our dog the next day! We drove from Chicago for a meet and greet and were able to take her home with us. (Disclaimer here - I’m a model dog owner/applicant. This is the place where I got my baby girl! We are so happy with her. She’s gorgeous. She’s a gorgeous German Shepherd. I wish more people would adopt them bad boys.🙂❤️❤️❤️

Hoovers is a great rescue center. They have wonderful staff and countless foster families to help take care of the animals before finding their forever homes. My family adopted from hovers a year ago, and the experience was great. Hoovers is a great rescue center, very clean and focused on animal care. I can't believe i didn't leave a great rescue before!

I recently adopted a puppy from Hoovers and I couldn’t be more thankful for the care and kindness given to both myself and my dog, before, during, and after the adoption process. I met several foster families during my visit to the center. It's clear they were thoughtfully chosen to be guardians of these precious pups. They provide each dog with the love and stability they need during, what can be, a stressful transition period. Hoovers makes it as safe and calm as possible and I'm so grateful for the service they provide to the Midwest animal community.
