Hootie's Rescue Haven

Love these guys and everything they stand for! Every animal in that rescue is well loved and it shows. Honestly it was hard not to take all of their pups home because of how loving everyone was. But, the owners do a great job for not only their rescues but they help anyone else that they can as well... so, if you're in need of an animal and also want to help out a local business who actually cares; please use them so that they can continue their beautiful work. I've had my pup for a couple months now and I still feel free to reach out if needed. They are also very welcoming of any news or photos after the adoption, which truly sold me. Fantastic people. Fantastic animals. And a fantastic place to find your new family member. Oh, and last thing, their recommended vet is ALSO AMAZING!

I adopted one of their cats Tuna in 2022 but unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances I had to give her back in 2023. They were very understanding and received her back with open arms. They get busy so they can be hard to get a hold of at times but all in all they're a good organization that cares deeply about their animals, their cause and mission and they're a no kill shelter. I highly recommend if you're wanting to get an animal please come here to get one. You won't be disappointed. These animals are well taken care of.

I'm all for places like this that rescue abused and neglected animals, however for some reason, they do not want to consider me for adopting a dog; I am a very responsible dog owner and recently lost my terrier mix of 17 years 😢! I have called them twice and emailed this place with no response!
