Horrible experience. Between the almost non-responsive lack of communication, the bitter undertone of their run on sentence emails, and the general unprofessional behavior, it amazes me that this place has anywhere near a decent rating. Perhaps there was a changing of management or I just happen to interact with the worst employee there, but something is severely wrong with this place. We inquired about adopting two dogs to live with a loving retired couple on a 5 acre stretch of land. One of them a former vets assistant. Near perfect circumstances for any doggo. We were met with rude behavior, followed by a complete lack of contact. It's now been two weeks since they were supposed to set up a meeting. Since they are completely unprofessional we ended up going to the kennels at PCC rock cr

Kind people that make pet care affordable. My dog and I had a great experience here. It’s clean, affordable, and a much preferred place to somewhere like Banfield. They really care.

These people and the humane society are HEROS! We adopted two kitties. A 7 year old Orange Tabby, and a 1.5 year old siamese. Still getting used to their new home and family. Always a pleasure to visit. Every animal is well loved and taken care of. One of our other cats at home, also came from Homeward Bound. He is 10 now (Grey and white kitty in photo). We got him when he was 6 months old.

If this is a no kill shelter then why was a pit bull put down after he was picked up? The owner was trying to get his dog but it was put down instead. No records anywhere that he was vicious. Super friendly. Shame.on you

We adopted our cat Nemnem from homeward bound in March of last year, he was fixed and had all of his shots and was chipped. He is amazing! They do charge to adopt Nemnem was $100 but it was worth it considering he already had all the things done we would have had to do ourselves and he's healthy. However we rescued a dog from a bad situation and couldn't keep him and when I took him out to homeward bound they told me there is a waiting list and it would cost me $125 for them to take him. So I'm just not sure about that part.
