Hometown Veterinary Services

We have been coming to Hometown for quite some time, but today truly moved me to write this review. Having to say goodbye to our English Mastiff was one of the hardest moments we’ve experienced, and I am so incredibly grateful for the compassion and care shown by every member of the staff. From the moment we arrived, the experience was calm and peaceful. The room we were placed in felt warm, cozy, and home-like, which brought a great deal of comfort during such a difficult time. Knowing our dog was able to be at peace in such a gentle environment meant everything to us. The front desk staff was knowledgeable, kind, and comforting, immediately putting us at ease. The veterinary technicians were patient, compassionate, and attentive, ensuring our dog was comfortable every step of the way.

Hometown Vet has cared for my sweet Bella for the past 14 years, and I truly cannot imagine a better veterinary team. From routine visits to the hardest goodbye, they were compassionate, patient, and incredibly kind every step of the way. When it came time to put Bella down, Dr. Estock and staff were amazing. They treated her and us with so much dignity and love. They took the time to explain everything, never rushed us, and made an unbearable moment a little more peaceful. I will always be grateful for the care they gave my dog throughout her life and for the comfort they provided at the end. Thank you for loving Bella as much as we did.

My experience here has been nothing short of amazing! The facility is top notch, so clean and welcoming. The front desk staff is always kind, the vet techs are wonderful, and Dr. Dittoe and Dr. Estock have been absolutely fantastic. You can truly tell everyone here loves their job and genuinely cares about the animals they treat. I love that I can text to schedule appointments and always get such a quick, friendly response. They’re fair, affordable, and I know my dog (Sushi) is in the best hands. I cannot recommend them enough! Sushi says thank you, too.

We cannot express how grateful we are for Hometown Veterinary Services. They went above and beyond with the care they gave our cat, Baby. First, they allowed us to bring Baby in an hour before closing even though we were not a regular client. Second, they went past closing to complete the treatment. Third, we were able to bring Baby in the next morning as he was not progressing overnight as he should have. They provided the needed treatment and we were able to bring Baby home later that afternoon. Dr. Colton Harstine and his staff provided excellent care at the time of service and with follow up text messages after our visit to see how Baby was doing and if we had any questions. The staff here are always super helpful, patient and truly care. That means so much. Your pets are recognized as family here,, and will be well taken care of. Every veterinary clinic should abide by the same standards as Hometown. The place is super clean and professional. There is a PetDesk app available that makes it easy to schedule or cancel appointments, refill meds, and keep track of your pet's information with reminders for upcoming needs. You will earn points each visit that can be redeemed whenever towards your next visit and/or specific services. A nice perk. This is a great place for you and your furry family.
