Hometown Veterinary Care

I have had nothing but amazing experiences with Hometown. Dr. Vigue has been seeing my cats for years now and I trust his opinion immensely. Dr. Mitch was also great recently when I got some unexpected news with one of my cats. Even outside of them, every vet I have had is always professional, caring, and insightful. I have so much trust in these guys to treat my fur babies and they do an excellent job. The front staff are amazing as well. I call often with different paperwork requests or appts and they are always willing to help me out!

If you love your fur baby's, bring them to Home Town Veterinary Care in Fairfield. Anyone i have ever had the pleasure to deal with throughout this office, has always been kind and helpful and it shows that they truly care for animals. ♡♡♡

Great place to bring your pets. The staff is always friendly and helpful. One of my dogs is always anxious and they are very good at taking notice and letting me do some of the things, like taking her temp to make her feel more comfortable. They always take the time to explain the vaccines they recommend and why and never make you feel like you have to do everything they recommend.

I just had the worst experience I have ever had at any veterinarians office. I had never met Dr Amy White, DMV before, and only know her name since it’s on the rabies vaccination document because she couldn’t even be bothered to introduce herself to me. I have never had a bad experience with Dr Vigue, or the former Lakeside Practice, but this was the worst. She has no bedside manner, required a tech to come draw blood after she twice failed to do so. She seemed scared of my dog. I have never seen my dog try to get away from someone so badly in the nearly 8 years we have had her. As my dog was trying to jump off the table she took a step back and let Luna fall on her back from 3 feet in the air. And then laughed and said Luna you aren’t supposed to jump. I ended the appointment at that mome
