Homestead Animal Medical Clinic

Very friendly staff got me in, in just a couple days. They seem to be less expensive than other places, however 65$ for the doctor to come in for 6 minutes and check my dog is still a bit pricey. I knew that price before coming in because I ask. I'm still satisfied with the knowledge of Dr. Thompson and everyone involved.

I’m writing this with a broken heart. A beloved dog died today in Crossville because none of the local veterinary clinics were open during a life-threatening emergency. This dog was bleeding heavily, vomiting, declining rapidly, and suffering. We desperately searched for help. Every clinic had websites promising compassion, care, and being ‘here when you need us’. Yet on a Saturday, in a real emergency, there was no one — no urgent care, no after-hours support, no option for humane relief. A pet shouldn’t have to die slowly because it’s the weekend. Owners shouldn’t be forced into helplessness while watching their best friend fade in pain. We have been going here for years now..The whole staff is great!!.Prices are very fair..We had to go back yesterday because my cat was not well at all..They got us in same day, and the Doc knew just what to do..A couple of Shots, and some stuff for his eye, and he was back to his old self in a matter of hours..It was a huge relief to see Mr Tubby out of pain, and back to being his playful self again so quickly...Now thats what i call EXPERT CARE...Thanks to Everybody up there....Brandon and Che

You could not ask for a more caring and compassionate staff !! I am 110% satisfied with Homestead !!! Their fees are unbelievably low cost and they treated us like we parents of pet not just a swipe and next in line. That says something very special about them !! I have 50+ years in veterinarian services and Homestead has proven, the best !!!!

First visit with my dog went very well and I liked them. Returned to get a rabies shot and the vet tech commented to me how much she hated the breed of dog I had, saying they were all horrible and mean. To me that is just unprofessional and uncalled for coming from a vet clinic. She is half cane corso and Dane, and is the sweetest baby. That wasn't too bad considering I liked the vet and the prices I thought were reasonable so I was willing to let that slide. Then I got a quote for spay and it was $550 dollars, which is around $150 more than anywhere else in town. No thanks.
