They were able to get my cat in for an appointment the day after I called them about my concern regarding a disturbing reaction that my girl had experienced due to stress. The vet and staff were amazingly gentle. Both my cat and I appreciated their level of service. I will definitely bring my cats here again in the future.

Wonderful experience. Just moved to the area and they squeezed in our 2 chubby furries before we went back to work. Also, they gave me a precise calorie count diet to follow and a list of teeth cleaning options with various price points (our previous vet didn’t take my weight concern serious and would only recommend their retail options). My anxious dog melted with everyone. Oh - and I loved the text sign in to avoid a crazy waiting area! Sincere, educated staff and I’m grateful they’re here.

Dr. Bando is awesome - our sweet Golden loves the HVC staff. We have received excellent care and guidance for her over the last two years. Just recenlty, we brought our new 8-month old puppy who is quite "spicy" into the office with us and discovered HVC has an amazing service called "Happy Visits" to support more challenging/stressed pups in getting to know the staff prior to any service appointments - this demonstrates to us HVC's committment to individual animals and where they're at instead of only focusing on volume or less difficult presentations. We appreciate the quality of care and warm professionalism at each visit - thank you HVC for serving our Homer community!

The staff is always friendly and my cats have always been surprisingly calm under the stress. The only thing that I could say negative is that they do not have an after hours emergency presence. I know that is difficult in a small town but I maybe all the local vets could work together to create some kind of rotation? Just a thought but don't hesitate to take your pets here.

I called this clinic with an emergency and they fit me right in. The doctor and vet tech were so nice and thorough. They were really sweet to my maltipo. He was having breathing issues. What I did not mention is he was not their regular patient but he might become one. My baby is not a baby anymore (14 years) and they treated him with kid gloves. I am so relieved that they fit me in.
