Home for Good Dog Rescue helped us find our missing piece to our family. We loved how much time was put in the bio for the dogs. It made it easier to get that feel of which one would match our lifestyle. While they strive to find loving homes for all their dogs, what I appreciated is that they were honest and devoted to making sure each placement was the right fit, not just for the family, but for the dogs too. when we finally saw Georgia (now renamed Winnie) we knew she was it. They took her out let us meet her then went over every little detail during the adoption process from all her vet checkups to showing us where we could find her dog food near to where we lived. They went above and beyond and we are very grateful. Now our son gets to have a playmate to grow up with.

My husband and I had a great experience with HFG. We adopted our first puppy and from our initial look on their site the application process is clearly listed for you, as well as their adoptable pets. Upon applying, we received a phone call with a representative who confirmed our application was approved, and was able to answer any questions we had. Luckily, we found our sweet girl at the first adoption event we attended, and have been in love since. Once we confirmed we’d like to adopt, we were able to sit down with a HFG rep and were talked through all previous medical treatments, her current diet, what to expect with a puppy, suggestions of treats/food/toys for her size and age group, anything you can think of our questions were answered! We absolutely love Home for Good Dog Rescue and are forever indebted to them for rescuing our sweet Johnny. From the very beginning, their team showed so much compassion, care, and dedication to making sure every dog finds their perfect match. Johnny has been the most wonderful addition to our family—he’s truly everything we hoped for and more. It’s clear that he was loved and well cared for before we met him, and we’re so grateful to the volunteers and foster families who made that possible. This organization goes above and beyond, not just rescuing dogs but giving them a real chance at a happy, healthy life. We had a great experience with HFGD rescue! The adoption application approval was quick! I had studied the bio narratives of available dogs and found just who I was looking for at the adoption event we attended! By having adoption pre-approval we were able to bring Charlie (formerly Chauncy) home with us that day! Prior to leaving, Charlie’s information packet was thoroughly reviewed and discussed with us with a knowledgeable staff member. It is obvious their priority is to ensure that as the adopter you are being provided with as much essential information as possible! It is 11 weeks today since Charlie chose us to be his “fur ever” family and he has acclimated beautifully! He is the sweetest, most gentle, loving ball of fur! We can't recommend this place enough! We recently adopted our new rescue, Bunny (Essie). The staff is so thorough in ensuring that these dogs go to loving homes. Let me tell you, I don't know what they did, but our six month-old rescue is completely housebroken out of the gate, and so well-behaved. We are in love. I'm so glad there are such reputable and loving organizations out there ensuring these dogs have the lives they deserve. Highly recommend!!
