Home Away from Home Dog Boarding

An absolute beautiful place! It is immaculate inside and out and the owners are so sweet and took very good care of my dog. This was his first time being boarded and I had no reservations about leaving him after meeting them and seeing their kennels. She was so kind to send me texts and pictures of my dog. Highly recommend them and I will definitely use them again.

I was really worried about leaving my dog at a new place, as it was the first time I had to do this, but I had a great experience! The kennel is clean, comfortable for the dog, I could bring my dog’s blankets, food, treats and some comfort objects. Wendy is a very nice and polite person, and she gave me updates, which gave me peace to enjoy my vacation. Great way to do business!

We were nervous to use a boarding facility for the first time. But once we met to drop off our dog we were impressed. The kennels are large with an outdoor space. They are given room to run around outside. While able to see the other dogs they are always kept separate keeping them all safe. She assured us he would be okay. We were sent pictures and updates while we were away. We picked him safe and sound. We will definitely be coming back again.

We are very pleased with our two dogs recent stay, highly recommend! Very clean too! After our second stay last fall we won't be returning or recommending. When we went to pick up our pups our senior wouldn't even pick up her head, let alone get up to greet us. She was severely dehydrated, to the point her kidneys were shutting down. No one made sure she ate and drank, and no one informed us she was ill. We showed up early, on surprise, and found our pup in that condition.

We’ve used Home Away from Home twice now and our dog surprised me the second time when she actually seemed excited about being dropped off. She usually doesn’t like getting boarded at all. We always pick her up healthy and happy. Highly recommended!
