The staff are so friendly and willing to work with you with holistic and western approaches. The first time I went to HVC my lab was having lots of stomach issues. He was reactive to people and other vets in the area refused to see him (no bite history or any major behavioral problems he would just sound very scary because he was scared). The staff here was so friendly even with him barking they worked with him and now he absolutely loves them and doesn’t dread going. I would 100% recommend Holistic Veterinary Consultants!

My 2.5 year old Anatolian had an MMP surgery 6 months ago. He healed well. We did all of the PT, yet he still isn't using his leg routinely. After an extremely thoughtful and thorough appointment, we decided to pursue acupuncture. The next seven days were the happiest most active hes had since surgery. We are on our way back for more!

Dr. Lewter gave our sweet Perry the best last month of his life. My 12.5 year old rescue dog had been showing signs of trouble walking and limping in his back legs, and our previous vet said it was arthritis. We started a round of medicine, and it got better for a few days, but shortly after got even worse than before medication. They prescribed a secondary medicine that he reacted poorly to. In January my beloved cat, Slider, was diagnosed with cancer. Finding out that my cat had only weeks to live was some of the hardest, most awful news I've had to bear. I'm grateful to Dr. Tessi and to Amber for helping me walk through those dreadful weeks, for answering my questions, counseling me, letting me show up often without an appointment, figuring out a course of action, and then helping me in the months after Slider's death. They really care about your fur babies. Very compassionate. They do home visits for my Bailey.
