Holiday Pen Country Boarding

Can't say enough good things about Dan and his boarding facility. Everything was very clean and well kept. This was our first time leaving our 120 lbs puppy with anyone while we went on vacation. She was a little timid when I went to pick her up, but honestly that was probably because she thought we left her. As soon as she recognized me she was jumping for joy. We also opted for the extra service to have her washed and brushed out which was done before we got there so she was pretty and clean. We will definitely return in the future. Remember the dogs here are not in small crates. They get to stay in very large kennels that lead to an outside area. They have plenty of room to play and are not just tossed in a cage. My brother warned me about this place. First, the guy quoted different pricing structures then lied when questioned about it. Then, my brother's dog came back with kennel cough. The owner didn't take responsibility, but instead lied and told my brother to find another kennel, like he wasn't going to do that anyway. I should have listened to my brother. Our dog came back OK, but the management could not be reached and even though they knew when we were coming to pick up the dog, they just left the place unlocked with instructions on where to leave payment, which we did. This is apparently a great strategy because now they are claiming we never paid and are calling us liars and thieves. I have never been so insulted in all my life. This guy is an ignorant hillbilly and should not be trusted

We have always been very happy with Holiday Pen Country Boarding. The prices are very fair. This is a no frills boarding facility. If you are used to taking your doggie friend to be pampered and spoiled in luxury, this is not the kennel for you. But if you need a practical solution for boarding your dog then you will enjoy Holiday Pen.

Always spotless and my dogs get so excited every time I pull in that driveway. Also thanks for being flexible on drop off and pick up times. most places only give you very small windows to pick up your pet. This is so much nicer.

Dan is a great guy to work with, very reasonably priced, my dog always has a great time when we take him here
