Hilton Head Veterinary Clinic

We come down to Hilton Head every year for part of the winter and always bring our two dogs. In the 8 yrs we’ve been doing this we haven’t had the need for veterinary care here until a week ago. Our pup wasn’t feeling well and we knew he needed to be seen. We were able to get him in the morning we called. Everyone there was so friendly and so accommodating! We feel he received the same level of care he gets at home at our regular trusted vet. I had complete confidence in Dr Allen’s ability, recommendations and treatment. Our boy is feeling much better and once again enjoying his time on the beach. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

I highly recommend this Veterinary office. Dr McGuiness is the best! She listens, explains everything and my fur baby just loves her and the staff so very much. Everyone is so nice and attentive always when I have an appointment I’m blessed to have found them!

The practice was responsive, warm, supportive and professional. From the time you enter until the time you leave, the doctors, the techs and other staff give you their full attention. The care our dog received was top quality and the post-care recommendations were well taken. Glad we found this practice for our winter stays in HH.

Our Family recently moved to the Island and I was looking for a new vet after being with our previous vet for over five years. Unfortunately, our experience with Hilton Head Veterinary Clinic has been very disappointing. On my first visit, the staff was pleasant, and the clinic seemed professional. I spent $430 for that appointment, and at the time, I felt confident they would provide reliable ongoing care for my dog. However, when my dog developed a bloody wound on her right side, the clinic was completely unavailable to help. I called this morning, sent a photo as requested, and was told that my dog should be seen by a vet, but there were no appointments available that day. No alternative options were offered, and I wasn’t able to speak to a doctor or even a nurse. The lack of urgency

Dr. Allen and the team at Hilton Head Veterinary Clinic were kind enough to get my dog in on short notice. Traveling with a sick dog and trying to get in sooner vs later to see a Vet has become harder in the past few years. Their compassion for helping animals is obvious. My dog needed bloodwork and they unlike so many others without any issues was able to get blood easily and not traumatize my pup. Greatly appreciate the team here. Highly recommend.
