Hillside Society

I just adopted a Female Terrier mix from there today, it will take a little time to get adjusted to her new home, but a very sweet dog , just as described... I'm very pleased to be her new owner.

Madison helped us to find the perfect cat for our household, we are very excited to have Sugar join our family.

Tried to adopt a kitten today and the whole process was pathetic. They had me fill out an application. While I filled it out a worker asks me which kitten I was looking at. I told her I liked two of them and would like to see any paperwork they had to make my decision. She took my application to her manager and came back a few minutes later. She started asking me questions about my sister(who I do not live with at all). She left and came back randomly says “we aren’t allowed to give out three cats at once” I replied “okay I was just looking at which one of these two would be a better option” she walked away again. She came back in and told me her manager said I needed to call a vet and establish care with them to be able to adopt a cat. So I called the vet it went to voicemail. The manager

Hey, Hillside is the best!!!! They have always been the kindest and pet focused animal society I have come across. Their animals are always well taken care of and are so helpful if you have any questions. We are blessed to have such a great place and so close. Thank you for all you do.

We have a horse (Mac) who was adopted through Hillside over 22 years ago and a dog (Rebel) adopted in 2018. Adoption process was handled with ease and kindness. Every time I drop off donations everyone that works there is so grateful. The beautiful facebook posts are truly appreciated. Great job everyone! You are appreciated!!!
