Compassionate, thoughtful care. We've taken our cats and dogs to Hillside for 18 years, even after we moved out of the area! Dr. Ben is the absolute best, and every member of staff we've met has been caring and competent in everything from regular check-ups and nail clips to gut-wrenching, painful problems. I wouldn't take my babies anywhere else.

Dr. Ben and staff at Hillside Animal Hospital have been extraordinary! They see my furbabies when it's an emergency and I misunderstood an appointment day and they still saw my furbaby. I've never experienced any problems only staff going above and beyond. Thank you Hillside Animal Hospital!!

I have a 15 year old Yorkie that desperately needed her teeth cleaned and needed extractions. The staff were amazing, caring and compassionate from the start. At 15 this is such a risky procedure and my heart was not ready to put her through it. They assured me that the benefit outweighs the risk of things getting worse and that they would take good care of her. Well, they lived up to that promise. My little girl is back home and resting, she is wore out but I think she feels so much better overall. My experience with them is far greater than I initially expected it would be. Previous vets made me have little hope. Thank you Hillside for taking care of my pet!

Our family has gone to Hillside since it opened nearly 50 years ago. The care and compassion is above reproach. Steve, Ben, Tom, Harry and the staff are always friendly and willing to take all of the time needed to really care for our fur babies.

As a doggie Mom for 50 years, this is by far the worst experience I've ever encountered. The front staff was great, but the office manager ..awful, disrespectful and not empathetic at all. I adopted a dog who tested positive for heartworms. My sweet girl was seen there twice, and I never once met the Veterinarian who was gonna treat her. He was on vacation when my sweet girl's test results came in and I had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with the office manager. I had questions and tears....The protocal for heartworms is different than 20 years ago when another rescue of mine had it. Through my tears and questions, he, the office manager suggested I "take my dog elsewhere". Then proceeded to tell me the message I left him was "sarcastic"....the message was factual.
