Highland Pet Resort wasn’t our first choice, but I’m so glad they had availability because they’ll be my first choice from now on! Our boys, Diesel and Cooper, are energetic German Shorthairs, and Chris and Renee were incredible with them from the moment we arrived. They took the time to ask about each dog’s personality, likes, and quirks to make sure their stay would be as comfortable as possible. If you know GSPs, you know they’re Velcro dogs and a bit high-maintenance - so that attention to detail meant a lot. Pickup was smooth, and I appreciated the updates about how the boys did during their stay. Both came home happy, well cared for, and major bonus - not smelling like a kennel. The highland pet resort is a great place to leave your fur baby while away.I left my golden retriever in there care and the staff went above and beyond to make my dog comfortable and help with his separation anxiety...and while away I got stuck with a canceled flight due to a hurricane and they accommodated my dog and were willing to make space for him until I was able to return. My golden came back a happy boy and was well taken care of! I will definitely use this doggy hotel again in the future!

Last year Chris and Renee were so helpful and accommodating when we had to board our cat for a family vacation, u expectedly. The facilities are clean and well taken care of and they are very caring and willing to answer all of our questions. They made the whole process for us easy and even gave us updates on how our pet was doing while away. Highly recommend.

We kept our cat here twice and the experience was great. They loved him. And took great care of him.

I've been bringing both my dog and my cat to the Highland Pet Resort for years now, and have always been impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and the quality of care that Renee and Chris provide to our furry family. They recently went above and beyond when my anxious, senior dog had a significant bout of anxiety while I was out of the country.
