I just had to put my beautiful KitKat down to rest a couple days ago. It was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. From the vet right down to the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing. They took it serious and empathize with you. They have a comfort room for it to happen in that make everything seem less traumatic than it already is. They offer beautiful memory gifts. Along with having a sign out in the lobby and a candle lit for when an animal is put to rest. As well as a special exist so you don’t have to go back through the lobby with everyone else is. I couldn’t be anymore grateful and thankful for their kindness, compassion and patience. Any questions ask they answer and worries they address. Grateful to be recommended Highland after losing Dr.Davis. Dr.Ambrosia is AMAZING and took care of my girl’s cancer and now we are on an ACL journey with my other pup. I love her positive attitude and willingness to explain things to us without feeling rushed. She is very gentle and makes my most anxious one feel comfortable. You can tell she really cares about your animals. Not only have they taken great care of my pups, they took on the rescue as well. They were incredibly compassionate during a traumatic rescue experience I had in early January and helped the officer and I right away. I really can’t thank the team at Highland enough for that. The team at this facility was fantastic. From the initial phone call to our follow up call for medication instructions. The staff was very professional yet friendly. The nurses and Doctor were extremely caring and patient during our difficult time trying to care for our pet. Although our prognosis was not positive, we could not have asked for better care and compassion. Also very knowledgeable and patient, careful to explain all the options in front of us.

Been going here for years and never had a bad experience. Every vet and vet tech I've ever had has been pleasant, informative, and patient. Even the front desk team is sweet. I always do appointments with all my cats at once; they will come help open the door and carry them in or out for me. If I lived an hour away, I would still drive here for the care and compassion this team has!

Can’t say enough good things about them. We had family visiting from out of state, and unfortunately last Saturday their dog got away and was hit by a car. We rushed her to the emergency vet on Bridge Street, but she needed a follow-up this week. I really didn’t want to send them back to the emergency clinic—I wanted our vet to see her because I trust their care and their assessment. Highland was able to get her in today, and she received a clean bill of health and is cleared to travel back home next week. We are so incredibly thankful they were able to accommodate us. They have always been amazing, but in this situation they truly went above and beyond. We are very grateful.
