High Halo Boarding Kennels

It was obvious to me when I picked up my dog after 2 weeks he had lost a lot of weight, his ribs were showing and he was very thin, I commented on this to the tech. He was 16 pounds and lost 3 pounds during his stay. His stool was a small amount after I fed him the first time after I picked him up from High Halo. He was extremely thirsty and hungry when I picked him up. I called back and asked about why he lost so much, they said ‘he was overly active’. He is a mix of jack Russell so has always been busy. I told her I will never leave him there again. She said ‘yup’.

Just picked my dog up after 5 days and he has pressure wounds. I walked him back in and showed the front desk lady she shrugged and said he does what he wants.

This is a great place if you have reactive dogs. I had tried 2 other boarding places previously and they ended up calling saying he was too stressed/irritated to be there so I had to pick him up. After a lot of research I found this place. I love that the kennels are big and they can go out when they need to. It sucks that he can’t have as much interaction as he would at home, but I get it since he is reactive. My dog used to not even be able to have people around him but he allowed us to hand him off to them and they were easily able to leash when it was pick up. Something he struggled with. This is definitely the best place for him so happy we could FINALLY find a place to take our sweet boy.

This place is amazing!! We were worried about how it would go for our 8 year old red heeler since she has high anxiety and has never been boarded before, but she did great thanks to the awesome people here! We will definitely be using them often in the future!!!

I definitely recommend this place. I got my rescue dog, Lyra, about three years ago. She has some pretty strong anxiety and didn't take well to a couple of other businesses. That's not the case here. She gets almost as excited to come here as she does when it's time for dinner! The entire staff up front greets Lyra every time I bring her in and treats her like a real dog instead of a source of income. This goes a long way with me. And given Lyra's excitement to get away from me and go see her friends at High Halo, I think that goes a long ways with her as well.
