Hide & Seek Dog Retreat

Clean kennel tucked away in the woods, 15 minutes from our campground. Worked out great to have them watch the pup for a few hours while we were off on excursions. Would definitely use again.

This is not a place where your dog will roam hundreds of acres and dance with the flowers lol It's a kennel. They board dogs in crates and let them out to play and use the bathroom. If you review it based on what it actually is, it's extremely affordable, nice and trustworthy people, and the facility is very clean. If I lived in NY city and paid $75 per night for a dog spa, this place wouldn't compare but for what it is, it's a good business. Give it a try

Adequate facility for keeping your dog if you have no other options. I just wish I had done more research before I chose this place. We chose this place because it had a 5 star rating and was close by our campground. I almost cried when I left, because all it was, was a crate. I could’ve done that myself. It’s literally someone’s house and they keep the dogs in an air conditioned shed-which I was definitely glad for the a/c part. The owners barely spoke to me, but seemed nice enough. There is a very small play area. When we walked into the shed all the dogs lost their minds barking and it was just a row of crates. Not at all what I, or my dog, are used to. Was the first time using Hide and Seek. Very nice family running this business. Very apparent that their facility is clean and they love the dogs.

Very nice people and my dog is always happy there. Good price and usually has a spot available.
