Hidden Valley Kennels

We were recommended to Hidden Valley Kennel in Nicholson, PA by our neighbor when we needed boarding for our dog over my mother’s birthday weekend, and we were very pleased with our experience. Mary and her husband were incredibly kind and welcoming from the start. The pricing was very reasonable for a four-day stay, and most importantly, our dog was well taken care of. What really stood out to me was how knowledgeable the owners are. They’re not just running a kennel they truly understand dogs and animals, and it shows in the way they care for them. I felt comfortable and confident leaving our dog there and would absolutely recommend Hidden Valley Kennel to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring place for their pet.

Hidden Valley has gone from being our backup boarding to our primary call. The owner Mary is so kind and she knows her dogs. She handles my reactive dog so well- she can even get her to take a bath! And she always shares her knowledge or advice about diet, grooming, supplements, anything you've been wondering about for your dog. My dog is also quicker to settle back into our routine after staying here. AND the kicker, it's so much less expensive than other places we've gone. I'm talking hundreds less for a week of boarding. It's worth the drive up route 11. Give these folks a try for your pups, they're great.

I highly recommend hidden valley kennels. I have been boarding my 2 labs here for 3 years now and Don and Mary are amazing with them. They treat me and my dogs like family. It’s great knowing my dogs are in good hands when I need to board them.

We boarded our 3 dogs first time ever boarding and they were awesome we were so nervous about it I called everyday and she always called back or answered we are so happy with our experience it’s a great place to board your dogs she is so knowledgeable with animals and takes such good care of them I’m happy to say this will be the only place I board my dogs anymore I highly recommend

Great for boarding highly aggressive dogs or dogs with anxiety. It is so difficult to find good kennels that specialize in aggressive breeds. We needed to find a kennel last minute for our family trip and the owners helped take care of our dog who does not do well outside of family members. They have excellent facilities and took excellent care of her. Some people might be offended by the owners' strong and frank personality but I was honestly looking for a trainer that knows what they are doing and is confident beccause you need a personality like that to take good care of aggressive dogs. This is our go to boarding spot now!
