Hidalgo is amazing and prices are great! Especially compared to VCA OSO Creek. If it is a emergency it is worth the drive amd money to go here instead! They also will let you send a picture and give a estimated quote to try to give you a idea of what it would be before you make the drive!

Took my Pyrenees here to get neutered recently. Staff was incredibly friendly, very good about getting to know the pup before handling too much, and spent a comfortable amount of time during the appointment checking my dog over and communicating with me. They take extra care making sure two animals don’t make contact and avoid any confrontations with the animals. They were extra kind and affectionate with my good boy, very reasonably priced, very professional and excellent communicators. I had a nightmare experience with my late mothers dog for a surgery she needed at South Texas Vet Clinic where they negligently missed a cancerous tumor making her have to suffer through a second surgery and I greatly regret not just waiting until the weekend and bringing her to the Hidalgo family. I know

I no longer live in Texas, but while I was there, this was my favorite clinic. Even with the reduced hours (weekends only) I felt my pups were safe with them. They talked to me about my rescues behavior issues and even called me after I moved to discuss vaccination records. Best animal clinic I’ve ever been to. Thank you ❤️
