This veterinarian’s office is absolutely one of a kind. Every one I came into contact with today was so nice and helpful. The nurse was very knowledgeable and the Dr gave me tons of information about what was going on with my grandpup. It made it easy to relay to my daughter. We’re facing something hard ahead of us, but I honestly believe this vets office will be beside us and not behind us through it all! Thank you again!

My first experience with Hickory Flat Animal Hospital was a couple years ago, when I had to say goodbye to my beloved old rescue dog. The staff at HFAH were absolutely, wonderfully compassionate and made this extremely difficult moment much more manageable. Since then, I have taken my pets to HFAH exclusively and have always had an excellent experience. Everyone in the office is extremely friendly and professional, and they have always answered questions I've had about medications, procedures, and so on with confidence, expertise, and clarity. Cannot recommend Hickory Flat Animal Hospital enough. Would rate more stars if I could.

An incredible vet. I could write an essay on how much I appreciate their compassion and kindness, but I’ll summarize it like this: if you’re looking for a veterinary team that prioritizes integrity, empathy, and excellent, comprehensive care, I doubt you’ll find better than the entire staff at Hickory Flat Animal Hospital. Taking your animals to the vet can be extremely stressful, even under the best of circumstances. It was a true blessing to find such a wonderful veterinary office right after moving to the area. My family (that I married into!) highly recommends Hickory Flat Animal Hospital. We have been with this animal hospital and it's veterinarians since around 1996, essentially when they opened. We've been through multiple vet changeovers with them. I've been to a multitude of vets, from before I got married and with friends, with pets that I sat while their owner was on vacation or when you're talking emergency vets or trying to get an appointment on that rare occasion when the times HFAH didn't have availability for a routine visit. No one has provided care as good as what we get at Hickory Flat. Every single penny we pay is absolutely worth it, from the veterinarian techs to the vets, these people care about us and our pets.
