Hershey Animal Emergency Center

Hershey Animal Emergency Center gave exceptional care to my Juneau who was in dire need of surgery. They wasted no time taking him back and getting him all set up. This is the best vet I have ever been to! The amount of care and compassion that they showed the entire time was absolutely amazing! They were more worried about helping my dog than collecting money and for that I am forever grateful because it shows that they truly do care and that’s so hard to find this day and age. They sent pictures of Juneau throughout the whole process to keep my anxiety at bay and communicated with me often. I never had to wonder what was happening or how he was doing. Wonderful just wonderful and I can’t recommend them enough! Thank you so much for saving my fur baby!!!

My golden was clearly blocked. She was straining to pee and/or poop. Megan Myers is one of the owners of this ER and she also owns Hershire Vet on Middletown Rd. I’ve used Hershire vets for 10 years and I trust them. When I got to the Hershey ER they triaged her. She had a bladder full of stones (they showed me the Xrays). It was an emergency. They gave us an estimate of cost and explained the cost. Yes it was expensive. I was able to use care credit. The MOST important thing for me was TRUST. I trust Megan Myers judgment. The staff was warm and respectful and understanding. I used them another time when my golden woke up at 4 o’clock in the morning, shaking her head and crying. I just called them up and went right in. These girls are the elite - the A Team - the GOAT…I can’t even put into words how amazing this staff is. When our 9 y/o spunky GSD started having lethargy and lack of appetite, we went to our local vet who found a mass in her abdomen and recommended an Ultrasound immediately. We were told by one location they could get us in, in a week (our dog could have been dead by then). The Hershey Team immediately told us to come and see them. We were 1.5 hours away and terrified for our dog. Immediately from reception throughout our care everyone was so kind and attentive to not only our needs but our dog.
