Henderson County Animal Shelter

My dog died and was told that if he were picked up by animal control i could choose option of cremating him and if i couldn't afford it, that they buried these souls. Reality is they DON'T offer cremation unless done by a very expensive third party but are thrown out as GARBAGE!!! IN Florida, all shelters and humane societies have crematoriums or access to them and sliding fees for those of us who love our animals but have very limited funds. It's a complete disgrace ! There should be at least a couple of facilities

I have never seen a cleaner shelter, anywhere! The people are extremely kind and helpful at every moment. The animals are lovingly taken care of and very clean for their low adoption fee. You get all Vaccinations, defleaing, Neutering spaying and microchip. All bases is covered. You also get a free vet visit for a check up after you have adopted. You couldn’t ask for more in a shelter. My heartfelt thanks to all of you there and my best wishes to you!

I was on Main Street in downtown Hendersonville where they had several local organizations with dogs for adoption. The Hendersonville animal shelter told me there was a law stating they could not adopt out the puppy I wanted so an owner could come forward and claim their dog if it was lost, I found that to be very ethical. When the time was up and no one claimed the dog, they contacted me and I went in. There was no pressure whatsoever. They let me take my time with the animals they had available.. After you pay a very reasonable fee, they even offer free spay and neuter and return some of the money once they have completed the procedure for your pet. They offer free behavior classes and I got the most amazing golden retriever mix there.

5 stars so they can't pay google to delete this They illegally adopted out my sister's registered service dogs last year 2 white gsd puppies and 1 big black gsd she named Henderson county animal services in her suicide letter as well as Brad rayfield and other organizations with a copy of brad rayfields threats to kill her black gsd shell die over those dogs you got a wrongful death suit waiting curtesy f her friends and family the proof is on her car as well and the vehicle will be used to prove this business bullied her to the decision update: she survived the suicide attempt but she's cut off family and we're sure she'll keep trying till she's dead and we can't locate her dogs so once again shell die over those dogs all the dogs in the world and they want to keep dogs from a owner who
