Adopted Hank (formerly Henry) from Cathy at Hearts and Tails 6 weeks ago, and we are so happy we did. Found his profile on PetFinder, submitted application that day, Cathy responded later that night, checked with our Vet and references immediately, scheduled our visit, and boom, we had Hank that weekend with us at home. Cathy clearly cares for the well-being of the animals in her care, and she is very happy to see them placed in the right homes. He was fully vetted, and groomed when we got him. And Cathy was fantastic with all the post adoption communication. We are happy to have out little boy with us, he makes our family complete again after our 15 year old schnauzer passed this March. We are Hank's 3rd home, and clearly the right place for him at last. Cathy did a great job placing h
We recently adopted Murphy from Hearts and Tails. We went to an event to just pet some dogs and Murphy chose us! The volunteers at the event were lovely and super helpful - we spent several hours hanging with Murphy. Shout out to his foster mom for taking good care of him. The rescue were so great to work with. We hope to continue to stay in contact!
Hearts & Tails is amazing. The experience we had was smooth and organized. Cathy was great with communication back and forth. Our mini goldendoodle Dexter gets along so well with his new sister Paige. Would highly recommend it if anyone is looking to adopt.
They broke our hearts on a dog that was supposedly not adoptable then 4 months later he didnt need the surgury on the other leg we waited a month for scout to come to newhamphire after his vet check finding out the news we were devistated. and had many conversations with emilie after she knew how much we wanted scout. To see him available for adoption 2 days ago no call of his new condition but she stated it was a mistake. i got angry then suddendly cathy stepped in to the emails i sent emilile and pretty much said they were just testing the waters on him. a mistake ? but went on to write me a book on my emails and my comments on how hard they work like i dont get that? ive been working with them tiredly for 6 months. we are so upset at the fact someone is not being truthful cathy? emilie?
Hearts and Tails Animal Alliance made adoption of our dear rescue dog so easy and pleasant. Cathy communicated plainly and honestly about her organization and what they do to help dogs in need of help. The adoption of an animal can be an overwhelming experience: from the shopping for dogs online, visiting shelters, meeting new animals and caregivers. It really comes down to communication and connection. I feel that Hearts and Tails provides care for their rescue animals and also compassionate for people wanting to bring an animal into their families.
