Heartland Veterinary Clinic

Took our farm cat Snuggles in for spaying. Heartland Veterinary Clinic did a great job. Snuggles recovered quickly. Surgery on the 23rd, and here is her photo on Christmas evening. Thank you and Happy New Year!

I have never left my puppy anywhere without myself or my husband. However, my Remy wanted to go to the staff. He was so happy. The lady then took him back and I could hear her talking to Remy and introducing him to their puppies they bring from home to work. They called me once the surgery was done, I was told Remy did great, and told me when I could come pick up my boy. When we arrived the same assistant was holding Remy. I was shocked, as he wasn’t shaking or scared at all. I thanked them for everything they did to make him feel comfortable, and thanked them for also trimming his nails. We then drove back to Hutchinson. This place has the best staff, and I refuse to see any vets here in Hutchinson & South Hutchinson. They’ve all done wrong. I will be making this drive each month for nail

We had to put our little chihuahua down. I’ve been around many euthanasias because I’ve worked in this field before and this time was the worst I’ve ever seen. I thought it was normal to sedate the dog first to calm them down and relax and then do the actual euthanasia. Dr mark didn’t do that so I didn’t even get to hold him in his last moments because a tech had to hold him. My poor dog was fighting him the whole time he was trying to inject him. He had always been scared of the vet so it’s not like that was new. It was horrible and heartbreaking to watch. He also was not personable and never said a word to us when he walked in the room until he said what he was going to do. I’ve seen more caring vets at an emergency vet. We will not be going back.
