Heartland Kennels

Not many places welcome a 150lb Rottweiler, and they treat our Dozer like one of their own! When we show up he runs to them like they are his family away from home. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else! 10/10 recommend!

It was very hard to leave our dog, Dakota, at a boarding facility for the first time, but the couple who own and run this facility were very reassuring and were always kind and happy to answer any concerns/worries we had. Dakota has had aggressive tendencies in the past, especially in new places that trigger anxiety and also does not take well to new people, so boarding was the only option for us. The price paid is extremely fair, especially in this economy. They provide their own food, water, dog bowls, dog beds, although you do have the option to bring your own food/bed. I can say I would not have left my dog for even a second in a place that I felt was unsafe or that people would be cruel in any way to her. My husband and I have boarded our Border Collie & Aussie a few times over the past year and it’s like a second home to our pups!! Our Aussie had a troubled past and tends to take a while to warm up to strangers. Heartland loves our pups like their own and the feeling is mutual. We feel so relaxed knowing they’re in good hands. Heartland Kennels is amazing! Our little fur baby was always left traumatized at the last place we used for grooming. When she goes to Heartland she comes home the same pup we sent in happy, playful and full of life. No more shaking, and not eating for days! You guys are the best.
