Heart + Paw

We recently brought our cat, Mac, to Heart + Paw for an urgent health issue, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Mac is normally seen by Dr. Marmolejo, who has always been fantastic with him, but her schedule was fully booked when this issue came up. Dr. Blackman stepped in, and we couldn’t have been more grateful for the care he provided. Dr. Blackman was incredibly thorough, compassionate, and clear in explaining what was going on with Mac. He reviewed Mac’s bloodwork with us, showed detailed before-and-after photos of his teeth, and walked us through the entire dental procedure in a way that put us completely at ease. He also personally performed the surgery, and his communication throughout the day was outstanding. We always felt informed, reassured, and confident

Dr. Blackman and Erin the vet tech were lovely to JiJi! They helped her with her shots and well visit and were lovely. The girls at reception were very friendly and helpful. I’m so happy I found a local place to bring her that accepts care credit so I can care for my cat while keeping my finances in order!

I took Brutus for his first big boy haircut and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Brutus is a 4 month old toy poodle and Christi did an amazing job gaining his trust from the get go and her friendliness eased my concerns. He came in looking like a hot mess and came out so beautiful and well groomed! Great establishment, engaging staff and a talented groomer. Thank you, Christi!

This was the best experience I have ever had at a veterinarian! The staff were so sweet and loving to my dog, customer service was exceptional, and level of care was excellent. I found a tick for the first time on my dog and they gave me so much information, as well as listened to all of my concerns. My dog was super comfortable almost immediately! ALSO- the care/payment plan is such a great add on.

From the moment I entered the location, I was highly impressed. Clean, relaxing, inviting all the way through. The staff was amazing and Dr. Caitlin was more tha I could’ve asked for. They took their time with my little Sophie, who was always been extremely anxious at our previous vet. The room invoked calmness for both her & I! They throughly explained every detail of care plan, gave me options, and clearly explained the cost. I highly recommend the Hopatcong location. It was absolutely worth the 25 minutes drive with my baby girl and I’m thankful to God that I chose them!!
