My daughter and son love coming here and walking the pups and petting the cats Recently, my daughter saved up and adopted two kitties We go here often all the staff are so kind and helpful we love sitting with the kitties

Lori was the absolute best! We recently lost our very beloved kitty of 19 years and knew we needed another cat to help us heal! We met at Pet Smart in Kingston. We immediately knew we were going to adopt from them! They made the approval process very pleasant! Lori was very knowledgeable of all of the cats attitudes and temperaments. We ended up adopting a very beautiful 11 year old cat named Gallo. She has filled our heart with joy and we are so grateful for our experience we had with the Hearts of the Catskills Humane Society’s team. Thank you for filling our home with meows again!

I drove over an hour to adopt from this shelter last month and it was the best experience ! Laura is so kind, knowledgeable and communicated with me regarding the kittens that were available before I made the trip out to Delhi. Heart of the Catskills Humane Society is clean, well organized and the animals waiting to be adopted were happy and well taken care of. I am a retired veterinary technician and I was truly impressed with the facility. I chose the perfect kitten and she's been a sweet little girl who has brought so much joy into our home. The fosters who work with the shelter and take in the young kittens until they are old enough to be adopted out do a great job. My kitten has wonderful manners and she is just delightful thanks to her loving foster Mom. I highly recommend this

This facility is the best!! We've adopted so many animals from Deb and her crew. We wouldn't go anywhere else. They are all so nice, and Understanding. Adoption fees are beyond reasonable, and they take care of everything for you!!! We love them all!!!!

I've been a volunteer for quite a few years now and I have to say, HCHS goes above and beyond to care for all the animals that come through their doors.
