Shannon is absolutely amazing! My 8 year old Boxer Lab absolutely HATES getting his nails cut! We moved here a few years ago and always went to the vet (whom I love, so don’t get me wrong!) He’s the sweetest dog ever, but go near his nails and he’s a completely different dog! He freaks out, and then end up having the whole team hold him down with a muzzle. I happened to find Shannon and asked her to groom him and attempt his nails. Her location is easy to find, her space is very inviting and smells amazing! And my Rascal LOVES HER! She’s now been doing his nails for almost 2 years, and he’s never given her a problem! Wonderful shop! Shannon is so kind and our sweet pup has never been softer. She has great prices and she gives great advice on how to keep your pup healthy and brushed at home too. Our dog requires lots of maintenance and she gave us great advice! Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Shannon at Helath Hounds. I was in need of a groomer for my miniature poodle. I had one that I found on a whim when I moved to the area and she moved out of stste shortly after. I was given a recommendation for Shannon at Health Hounds from a few of the neighbors. When you walk into her establishment, the smell is fresh and sanitary. She is always friendly with a positive attitude. She cares about the animals she tends too. I was having issues with Tuckers skin and she recommended a home remedy and this cleared up the dry skin. Shannon has been more than accommodating for me if I need a last minute appointment. I have also used her for in home training. She showed me how to correct the behavior and we have a new dog. Not only does Shannon do great job on grooming, She is an excellent trainer as well. We were having an issue with our 2 year old Boxador. She was showing agression towards other dogs. Shannon came to our house and we discussed the issues we were having. After 2 hours, we had Zoe headed down a better path, we learned some new handling techniques , After only one week we noticed a diffrence in Zoe. She has lost all agression towards other dogs, shes a pleasure to walk and a great family pet. Shannon was great and i would reccomend her for all your dogs needs.

Brought our whitish one year old akita over to Shannon today for his first grooming with her. I was worried leaving him with a stranger... At first but not for long. The reception area smells of aroma therapy...a great first impression. Kuma warmed up to her quickly ... Shannon insisted on taking him for a quick walk to get to know him and, well, that's his favorite thing, soooo....now she's his favorite. I don't think he looked back at me as I left . I brought my wife with me to pick him up a couple hours later . They hit it off and Kuma didn't look (or smell) like the same dog ...we're both impressed enough to return again and again...just sayin
