Love, love love the donkeys. There were 8 donkeys and they were like really curious friendly dogs. I went to meet and groom them so that's what I did for 3 hrs...it's was Great!! Paulette was great and So informative. Wish they were closer to Seattle then I could go all the time.
I have the pleasure and honor of volunteering at Healing Hearts. Paulette and Dan Jacklin are truly dedicated and extremely hard working. I have seen them go above and beyond for these beautiful donkeys more than once. Their donkeys have to pass rigorous protocol before being adopted out.
Peaceful Valley is wonderful! I have two donkeys adopted from here, and want to volunteer if i can ever make timing work (and no more COVID!) Paulette and her husband are caring and incredibly knowledgeable about care of donkeys, and do an amazing job of getting these donks ready for adoption and offering follow up help and advice. I would highly recommend the Riverside WA satellite location of Peaceful Valley!
I donated on behalf of a dear person that loves animals more than himself and for his generous heart. I went to the website and it was easy peasy.
They seemed to be very expensive.
