By far the best vet practice in Raleigh. They’re the only place I’ll ever take my big guy. They’ve been amazing to him for 11 years and counting. I couldn’t be happier with their care and service.

Hayes Barton Animal Hospital has taken care of our dogs for nearly 40 years. The vets are professional, thorough and responsive. From puppy to elderly dog, our dogs have stayed as healthy as possible throughout their lives, thanks to the vets at HBAH. And at tough times, the staff are very caring and kind. That's why we have stuck with this practice for so many years.

Hayes Barton has such a knowledgable, caring, and wonderful team. They truly do thorough, compassionate care. My pup Harpua and I cannot recommend them enough.

Everyone at Hayes Barton is always patient, kind, and understanding. They truly love animals and seem genuinely invested in your pet’s health. I’ve always felt like my concerns about my dog were taken seriously, no matter how small! My dog also has a history of being very nervous at other vets, but the staff here know how to make her feel more comfortable. They cheer after her shots so she’s proud of herself, get on the floor with her, give her belly rubs when rolling her over, and everything else that she loves!

My dog suffered way too long before they would give me the green light to put him to sleep. I almost begged one of the female vets to put him to sleep. He was old ( Over 17 years old) and had lived a very long life. His health was declining quickly.He was suffering. But this one female vet in particular, her name escapes me. But I don’t recall her being very friendly. She was very straight to the point type of personality. She obviously wanted to keep pumping MONEY out of me. She waited until he could no longer suffer anymore, and we had to rush him in to be euthanized. The female euthanizing doctor was great! She had personality, she smiled and was welcoming. She made us feel like we were not just another number. Her name escapes me as well. I wish I had met her from the beginning. T
