Haven Animal Hospital

Everyone at Haven Animal Hospital is simply great. Dr Thibeault and her amazing team has seen us through every life stage of our many pets. The team there is an essential, compassionate, and capable part of our family. I couldn't imagine bringing our pets to anyone else.

My family have been clients of the Haven Animal Hospital in Malta, New York since 1994. They have been there for us every way that counts. We board our dogs there, they do annual physicals for all of our dogs and cats, they have been there for some very tough diagnosis and, unfortunately, have been there for us when we needed to make humane decisions for our pets. From the front desk, the vet techs and Dr. T herself, we have always been treated with kindness, compassion and respect. I've recommended friends to Dr. T and family members. Dr. T will not order unnecessary tests and she refers you to specialists when appropriate. I can't say enough good things about this business.

I have been with this doctor since1998. She has seen the joy I have bringing new pets to her for care and has sat with e through the agony of saying good-bye to my sweet animals. Her compassion and empathy are immeasurable. Her staff are amazing.

I’ve used this veterinary clinic for over 30 years for many family pets and recommended them to family and friends multiple times. Dr. Desiree is amazing with the animals as are her staff. I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else.

Just an FYI, this pracice doesnt have appointments that you make in advance. The Dr. has walk in hours where any current patient can come in without making an appointment during those hours. I find this to be really convenient, and in my opinion, more vet practices should do the same. Also, I'm not 100% sure if it still works this way, but in the past, in order to become a client, you needed to be referred by a current client. Its a small practice, so i dont think its feasable for the Dr. to take on as many patients as larger vet clinics., especially since shes very thorough when she sees your pet.
