Hartsong Ranch

Wow!! What a special & memorable experience! Despite the rain, I immensely enjoyed my camping experience at the ranch. The owners are sweet, thoughtful & attentive. The space is private, serene & breathtaking and is surrounded with beautiful trees, wildlife (lots of geese), and a gorgeous pond. I was so grateful to spend 2 nights at Hartsong & would love to go back!! It's close to hiking, a few small towns & loads of adventures. Plus, they are putting lots of love & labor into caring for animals on this working ranch/rescue. It's magical 🤩💗

What an excellent time we had at the ranch! Thanks to Jim and Cathy for being amazing hosts and giving us the tour of the property. We really enjoyed showing our son all of the wonderful farm animals and spending time in nature. Highly recommended for families!

I can't even put into words how amazing this Sanctuary is. Kathy was kind enough to give me a tour of this amazing sanctuary. She gave me a background on so many of the wonderful animals that they have rescued, the property is amazing, the animals are so friendly and so social. I would highly recommend anyone that is interested in helping a sanctuary or to visit this place.... it is heaven on Earth!

Cathy is an incredible woman! - I strive to be like her and in a place where I can have a rescue farm like hers... She will do almost anything to rescue animals in need. When I became too sick to safely handle and care for my steer Onyx, she took him in. It was one of the hardest things I ever had to do (I take in animals - I do not give them up or re-home them). But due to rapidly worsening health issues, being in the pasture with him became dangerous and I was desperate to find him a safe and loving home; and I found it! Heartsong Ranch is a beautiful place - if you have the chance to go; do it! They truly LOVE their rescues and are an amazing non-profit organization. What a beautiful sanctuary for discarded animals no one else wants to care for. Kathy and Jim are dedicated to the care and comfort of all these blind horses, goats, pigs, cows, and beautiful geese. dogs and friendly rooster.
