HART Cambria

PLEASE BEWARE BEFORE ADOPTING FROM HART CAMBRIA! Public Service Announcement! They do not test their kittens for FIP and we had the unfortunate reality of adopting a sick girl and spending thousands and still having her die! HART Cambria, SLO Animal Services Response has been abysmal. Please be informed that a lot of people are not doing the right thing here and could be exposing our feline friends to really serious implications. RIP JADE!

HART is the most amazing place. It’s located in a house, so there are rooms to separate cats by age, personality, or special needs. The kitten room, where the babies play, isolates the little ones from adults and seniors. Staff evaluates what each cat needs and makes sure they are in a room where they will be comfortable and feel safe. I’ve adopted two cats from HART so far and they were both sweethearts. Sometimes I stop by just to visit the cats, which helps socialize them. I’ve always been warmly greeted and made to feel welcome. Every time I drop in, I’ve been impressed by how clean the various rooms are kept. If you’re looking to adopt a cat or two or three, HART is the place to go.

Super kind staff, cats range from kitten to senior, adoption process isn't super difficult. Highly recommend if looking to adopt!
