Harrison County Animal Control

I brought my mother in laws dog to them. She passed away on Christmas and her dog bit my son in the face. When I brought the dog in originally they turned me away and told me that I had to quarantine her for 10 days because of rabies. After the ten days I just came back from my military obligations and I brought the dog back. After I brought the dog back the lady who gave me the papers told me that it was my fault and called me a bad parent that the dog bit my son and that it was my fault if they were putting her down. Who in their right mind would tell that to someone!

I got my did Friday there and they were nice. For $150 got his first shots and fixed

I adopted my beautiful kitten cat here. The adoption fee is not bad, it included the 3 shots and Nueter. I named my kitten Dollars 🥰. Also， people are nice!

They say they are a no kill shelter I brought in a scared young adult feral cat they I played with and such and when they said it's feral and a adult they went to kill it. Not happy at all if we knew that I would of took the cat back!!!

Was very friendly to meet all the ladies in the office and see the care they had for animals. I was very impressed by the way they handled my fur baby.
