The care at Harlingen Veterinary is truly top notch, my poor little buddy Reese’s caught a terrible ear infection. Within the first few days of care, I started to notice much improvement although his ear was still pretty swollen. Their prices here are very reasonable and they will only do what’s best for your animal unlike a lot of other clinics that will try to sell you on things that you really don’t need to do. Very professional with handling and making sure your pet is comfortable. I will always use Harlingen veterinary clinic.

I am a member of NJ Schnauzer Rescue and try to bring rescues to Harlingen, specifically Dr. Chris Newman, whenever possible. I briefly worked there as a vet tech and got to see firsthand, her expertise and compassion. Chris is thorough, realistic and goes the extra mile for our dogs - as does the rest of the Clinic. We just had a rescue, Filly, there for a major surgery and one of the techs, Nicole, asked if she could take Filly home that night. She felt she needed some extra "watching over" and volunteered to do that. She was so kind, even sending pictures to let us know that Filly was fine and handling the pain meds well. I highly recommend Harlingen. They are a top-notch Vet Clinic.

Have been bringing our dogs to Dr. Smetts at Harlingen Veterinary Clinic for 3 years now and cannot give her enough praise. Dr. Smetts is kind, helpful and extremely knowledgable. The same goes for the rest of staff, including the vet techs and receptionists, who are always helpful and caring towards your pets.
