HappyGentle Dogs

We initially enrolled our new puppy for training at HappyGentle Dogs in 2021, where we had the opportunity to visit and asses his progress. We subsequently began boarding our two dogs there. The dogs thoroughly enjoy their stays with Dale and we appreciate the exceptional care they receive. Dale provides a safe, caring and loving environment for our beloved dogs. We believe it would be challenging to find a more suitable alternative.

Happy Gentle Dogs hosted our Canine Comrades 'Train the Trainer' session, and the experience was exceptional. The entire event was amazing, highly informative, and incredibly organized from start to finish. Beyond the technical training, the atmosphere was both fun and hospitable, making for a perfect learning environment. It is rare to find a group that balances professional expertise with such genuine hospitality. We are already looking forward to doing more business with this group as a whole. Highly recommended for anyone looking for excellence in dog training and professional collaboration!

We love Dale, Tracy and their team! They trained two corgi puppies our family adopted a couple of years apart. Corgis come with big personalities and a ton of energy, and we wanted to ensure we weren’t out matched in getting them a great start. Dale and team came highly recommended by close friends. After meeting with them it was clear we had found great trainers - and even better people. Our corgis ended up with two very different personalities and Happy Gentle Dogs handled both superbly with tailored approaches for each. We can’t say enough great things about Dale, Tracy, and the whole team at Happy Gentle Dogs. They were amazing with our two pups, Phineas & Alfred. We always knew they were so well taken care of with frequent check ins and updates. Our dogs were truly transformed in the few short weeks they were at Happy Gentle Dogs. They came back confident and calm! Our daycare at home even asked for Dale’s info because they were so impressed! We wouldn’t trust anyone else.

I can’t give this place enough stars!!! The staff—especially Maddie, who worked with my dog—and the owner, Dale, have an incredible depth of knowledge about dog psychology and behavior. For the first time ever, I learned to understand dogs through their nose, eyes, and ears instead of through a human perspective. There’s no BS here—they tell it like it is and trained ME on how to help my dog become COGNITIVE instead of REACTIVE. Their amazing strategy really works. Everyone there truly cares about each and every animal! I highly recommend this facility and all the wonderful people who work here!
