Warning! Just wanted to advise people to check on their dogs. We took our fur baby and as we checked a day later I found a cut that she didn’t have when we took her to get her hair cut. It’s hard enough to find a good groomer and we trust the groomers when we leave our fur babies to later pick them up and find a cut on them.

We took our puppy (Rico) here after getting a recommendation from my sister. They have a puppy service that gets them used to being groomed. I was so very impressed and satisfied with Happy Pooch. Rico was so soft and fluffy and the staff was so very sweet and you can tell they legit care for the fur-babies. I’ll use Happy Pooch from here on out.

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate Melissa at Happy Pooch. We adopted Oscar from the Whatcom Humane Society in September and he is very reactive to new people because he is partially blind. I really needed to get his nails trimmed and the vet recommended Happy Pooch. I was able to make an appointment very easily. I had explained about Oscar’s reactivity so she gave us an appointment at the end of the day when there wouldn’t be a bunch of clients or dogs around. I brought Oscar in, and as predicted, he barked at Melissa and her assistant, Madelyn. Melissa was very very patient with Oscar, giving him treats and speaking to him calmly and gently. Me and my sister took our dog to get her grooming done last week come to find out there was a cut on her. I reached out to them, letting them know why we were not notified there was a cut on her. They asked for a picture of the cut.I sent them the picture since then, we haven’t heard anything from them. It’s very upsetting to know they don’t care.

We love bringing our dog for her nail trims! They are so good with her...thank you!
