Happy Hounds Pet Retreat

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing experience with this dog boarding facility! Our dog Lexi had a great time and was so well cared for. They even went above and beyond by trimming her nails, which is huge for us Lexi has a very hard time with nail trims at the vet and usually needs multiple people and a muzzle because she hates having her feet touched. They handled her with so much patience and care, it truly says everything about their staff. On top of that, when our trip was delayed due to an ice storm in Connecticut, they were incredibly understanding and accommodated a later pickup without any issue. We felt completely at ease knowing Lexi was in such loving, capable hands. Highly recommend!

I boarded my mini macaw here for 11-12 days and this was a new experience for the kennel, but my Bird had so much fun there! I will say that Megan and Moe are extremely professional, responsible and provide any information you need in a timely manner. There are also very, very nice and wonderful to the animals! They also were extremely wonderful with my Bird and my bird was clearly very happy when I came to pick him up!

I’m a little late with posting this. We are just thrilled with the results from Happy Hounds dog training. Megan was amazing and did a great job. I went from having no control over Amie, to full control. She doesn’t take off and is very good about staying in the yard. I would definitely recommend her to anyone with a dog.

I would recommend Happy Hounds and Megan Curtis to anyone and everyone who wants to have their dog trained. I didn’t realize before my dog. Dixie went there how little I knew about training. Now we can go on adventures and I’m confident in her ability to listen and follow directions. Nothing is better than taking your best friend on a trip And having confidence that they will be acting appropriately and you’ll still have fun Happy Hounds is the best and I would Recommend them highly to anyone who needs this kind of service

Shout out to Megan and her team. I am so happy with Riley’s two weeks with them. He is a puppy with all the usual behaviors - BUT know he Is so much better. I never in a million years imagined I could have a pup who knew heel, sit, stay, place, off and just attention. I am so happy. I have work to do to make or stick BUT here is the best part Megan is a text away for consult. She has trained Rye!! And most importantly she is willing to TRAIN ME!! So everyone please don’t be worried about the e collars. Trust the process and Megan’s skills and compassion!! Riley and I confirming place!!
